Barbara Carol Steele

Barbara Steele, 79, of Fridley, Minnesota, passed away peacefully with her sons at her side on Sunday, October 18, 2026. 

Barbara was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and caregiver. Barbara graduated from Central high School of Minneapolis in 1965. She moved to Fridley in 1976 with her late husband and family enjoying life in the same home for 50 years. Barbara worked as a GM for the distinguished Hoff and Hoff Printing company of Minneapolis for most of her career. She also enjoyed other jobs over the years including daycare and even as a braille writer. Barbara was a devoted caregiver to her late husband Richard through his health battles. 

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; grandparents, Hilder and Harry Lindberg; father, Roger Green; brother, Kevin Green. Barbara was survived by her wonderful mother, Phyllis; sisters, children, grandchildren, and even great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Barbara's wishes were to have a private family memorial.
