Each of us has shared a life entwined with yours, Cal.

We know your smile of unapologetic mischief. Your laugh that makes your eyes crinkle and the nose freckles you get in the summer. We know your clever turns of phrase that we adopt and make our own. We know your complexities and your stubborn nature. We adore you and all of your quirks and infinite charms.

We wanted more time to know you as a man and the days are unrecognizable without you. We will weave these new lives together in an expanded, loving community, in honor of you. Our red-bearded, gentle giant with the softest heart.

Cal’s brother, Rylin, was there to receive him on the other side. His mom, sister, grandparents, dad, aunties and uncles, cousins and many many friends remain here, on this side of the veil.
