Christine M Domaas

Christine M. Domaas (Crumplin), age 83, of Crystal, MN, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2026.

Christine was born in Winchfield, England July 11, 1942 to William and Winifred Crumplin.  She attended school in Hartley-Whitney, England.  She had 1 brother and 3 sisters older than her.  

She met Perry Domaas while he was serving on a naval airbase 30 miles south of London and they were married on May 13, 1961.  In January 1962 they moved to Minneapolis eventually settling in Brooklyn Center where they raised 2 children, Richard and Lisa. She made many return trips back to England to visit family and friends.

She was a devoted stay at home mother and a wonderful housekeeper and cook.  She kept the house and her family well taken care of 24/7.  She also did a lot of in-home babysitting.  For years she had been dealing with an ongoing painful health condition called Fibromyalgia.  In spite of having to deal with the constant pain and lack of a cure for it she never complained and never held back on her devotion to her family.

Christine and Perry resided in their home in Brooklyn Center for 36 years then moved into a condominium in Crystal where they lived for 22 years.  They then moved into their current residence in Crystal.  They purchased a lot on a lake near Dassel, MN and developed it into a great weekend get-away for the family; boating, fishing, grilling and relaxation were the order of business for all.  She loved going to the cabin but it eventually became too much work to keep up and they sold it to their nephew Paul and Amy.

Chris had a wonderful life with the exception of dealing with Fibromyalgia.  She had lots of wonderful friends and family, many have passed on before her; one was her son, Rick, who died of a heart attack in 1996 at the age of 45.  I'm sure they are all together again.

Christine is preceded in death by her son, Richard; parents, William and Winifred; brother, Keith; sisters, Valerie, Marlene and Glennis.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Perry, and daughter, Lisa.
