Donna Rae Busch

Donna Rae Busch, 94, of Northeast Minneapolis passed away peacefully on Friday, May 15, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born on January 6, 1932, in Minneapolis to Ray and Thelma (Billie) Tigue.

She was a loving mother, grandma, great-grandma, sister, and friend who will be remembered for her love of baking, sports, playing Farkle and Bingo. When she was younger, she enjoyed road trips to several places around the United States. Her greatest joy was family gatherings, seeing everyone together.

Donna is survived by her children Jan, Nancy (Curt), Jackie (Russ), Scott (Connie), bonus daughter Tammey (Gary), nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and many loving relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rod, her parents, sister Sandy, and brother Kenny.

The family wants to thank the staff at Abbott Hospital and hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

A small, private gathering to celebrate Donna’s life will be held with immediate family and close friends.
