Donna Rae Morris

Donna Rae Morris passed away May 3rd, 2025 of natural causes. Donna Rae was born on August 21,1934. Preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Jane (Bystrom) Anderson, Husband James Manville Morris, and Sister Marijane and Charles (Bill) Pearce. Survived by Sons, Charles (Darcy), Theodore (Theresa); Daughter, Tracey (Paul) Terrio; Grandchildren, Chase (Kindra), Nicholas (Lara), Kaitlyn, Nathan, Kelsey, Emmett, Alexis, Aaron, and Henry; great grandsons, Brayden and Isaac; and many other relatives and friends. She worked for the Phone Company after High school until 1961. Later she began work for Anoka Hennepin School District 11 as a health aide at Northdale Middle School until she retired in 1997. After retirement she and her husband built a family cabin in Crosslake, MN that has been greatly enjoyed by family. Jim and Donna enjoyed spending spring, summer and fall at the cabin. Many great family memories were made at the cabin. They enjoyed the winter months in Mesa, Arizona for over 20 years. Donna was very active in the Presbyterian Church in Coon Rapids where she raised her family, and filled many roles including Deacon, Elder, and Sunday School Teacher. Donna enjoyed watching many football and basketball games with any teams that were playing. Donna was also an avid Bridge Player. She participated in Bridge Clubs and Tournaments with her sister and many bridge club friends. Donna was a wonderful wife, Mother, and Grandmother who greatly enjoyed family get-togethers and events. A memorial service will be held with immediate family later in August. Interment will be at Cross Lake Lutheran Church Columbarium.
