Gregory John Schmidt

It is heartbreaking to announce the death of Gregory Schmidt who tragically left us on December 31, 2023, at the age of 48. Greg was well known for his generosity to all and for his loyalty to family and friends. He was very loved and will be missed terribly. It has been said that he may have been the best uncle of all time.

Greg is survived by his parents John and Terri, children Payge and Dylan Lincoln, sister Jackie (Kevin) Avery, brother Tyson (Libby née Kocher), nieces and nephews Clara and Adam Avery and Teddy and Stella Schmidt.

To honor Greg, we are holding a celebration of his life on January 14, 2024 at Stoney Creek Inn Conference Center in Rothschild, WI between 1 and 4 p.m. A brief ceremony will be held at 2:30. In keeping with Greg's commitment to elevating others please consider paying it forward. In Lieu of flowers commit one random act of kindness.
