Michael Wayne Thorpe

Michael Wayne Thorpe, age 66, of Belview, Minnesota, passed away on July 12, 2026.

Michael was a caring, kind, and thoughtful man who was loved by all who knew him. He was a loving husband and someone you could always talk to, offering a listening ear and a warm heart.

He enjoyed cars, demolition derbies, and watching the Indianapolis 500. He also loved westerns and the memories made from sharing conversations and time with those around him. Earlier in life, Michael worked for 10 years as a ranch hand in Colorado, where he embraced his love of hard work and the outdoors.

Michael is preceded in death by his wife, Micheale; brother, Larry Thorpe; sister, Barbara Thorpe. He's survived by his sons, Alan (Janette), Adam, and Mitchell (Josie); grandchildren, Hazel, Charlie, and Nathan; bonus daughter, Sara (Bruce) and Sara's children Rilie and Willow.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends. His kindness, stories, and the love he shared will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
