Nancy Jay Harvey

Nancy Jay Harvey, age 83, of New Brighton, MN, passed away peacefully, Monday, February 18, 2019. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, George Arden and Jessie Scott; sister-in-law, Ramona Harvey and son-in-law, Mike Motyl. She was born on October 15, 1935 in Evanston, IL. Nancy and Patrick had 21 wonderful years of retirement "Up North" in Beaver Bay, MN before returning to New Brighton in 2015 to Meadowood Senior Apartment living and more recently Brightondale Memory Care, where Patrick is continuing his care. Nancy is survived by her husband, Patrick Harvey of New Brighton, MN, Brightondale Memory Care and lovingly remembered by her 4 daughters and 1 son; Sue (Doug) Johnson of Oak Creek, WI, Joan (Bob) Clark of New Brighton, MN, Patricia (Tim) Dwyer of Waupaca, WI, Barbara Motyl of Pine City, MN and Todd (Fern) Harvey of Mount Vernon, OH. She was also blessed with 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren (with 1 more on the way!); brother, Stephen (Marilyn) Scott, brother-in-law, James Harvey, 3 nieces and 1 nephew. Special thanks to the staff and hospice team at Brightondale Memory Care and Meadowood Senior Apartments for all their support to the family and special care for her and continuing care for our dad.
