Patricia Lyn Smith

Patricia Patty Lyn Smith, born in Chicago Heights, IL on 10/9/1957, and lived in Spring Lake Park, MN. She passed away on 10/18/2016 due to a heart attack and stroke on 10/10/2016 at the age of 59 years. She is preceded in death by her father, Brock B Smith. She is survived by her children, Neil Elizabeth, Kacie, & Colin Carlson; grandchildren Andrew, Charlotte, & Landon; mother Patricia Louise Smith; and siblings, Annette, Elizabeth, Pam, and Brock. Patty was a retired teacher at Spring Lake Park High School. She had a Masters in Education from St. Thomas. She was a caring and loving woman. Loved her grandchildren more than anything. She will be missed greatly. Services have been held. A private burial will occur on Madeline Island. Memorials preferred to the family.
