Violet Mae Swanson

Age 86

Violet was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Helen Flater; brother, Duane Flater; son, Walter Michael Swanson; daughter, Terri Jo Swanson; granddaughter, Krista M. Swanson.

Violet will be deeply missed by her daughter, Sherri Secord; son, Craig Swanson; grandson, Nick Swanson; great-grandchildren, Brandon (Lyric) Swanson and Kingston Halloway; significant other, Roy Wiener.

Violet dedicated her life to her family. She was a stay-at-home mom raising her four children until her youngest child was in 6th grade. She then worked as a housekeeper at hotels and finished her working career at Boston Scientific. Violet’s favorite thing was being with her family at the cabin on Balsam Lake in Wisconsin.
