Parks, Wayne E. age 84 of Fridley passed away December 30, 2022 surrounded by family. He was preceded in death by parents, Donald and Dorothy; 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Wayne was a loving father to Bobbi (Augie), and Wade; stepfather to Tanya and her family; grandfather to Lonnie, LaShawna and Logan; brother-in-law to Gerry, Marla and Jami; former husband to Sherrie. He also is survived by other relatives and was blessed by many lifelong friends. His love of family, sports, fishing and bowling filled his life with pleasure. He spread his love, kindness, patience and goodness to all he knew. He was one of the most genuine people to know. A Celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 12:00PM to 3:00PM at the Fridley American Legion Post #303 - 7365 NE Central Ave., Fridley. (763) 786-2150. Lunch will be served.
