Riley James Sargent of Milaca, MN, died unexpectedly on May 22, 2023 at the age of 17.
Riley is the son of Kris Sargent and Rachel Luebesmier. He was born on July 16, 2005 in Saint
Cloud, MN. He graduated from Milaca high school in May 2023. Riley lived with his dad
primarily throughout the school year in Milaca, MN and would spend summers mostly at his
moms house in Madelia, MN. He enjoyed taking extra curricular classes in school including
wood shop, welding, and taxidermy. He loved spending time with his siblings and animals. He
enjoyed fishing at the river, going camping, mudding and off-roading. Helping in Mrs. Ray's
kindergarten class was his school day highlight. His greatest passion was for video games.
He is survived by his mother, Rachel Luebesmier (Robbie) of Madelia; father, Kris Sargent
(Alisha) of Milaca; sisters, Mackenzie, Madeline, Kally, Marley; brothers, Spencer, Axel,
Kingston; maternal grandmother, Beverly Luebesmier; maternal grandfather, Kevin Luebesmier;
paternal grandmother, Dorothy McConnell (Gary) and many other cousins, aunts, and uncles.

A celebration of life is scheduled for Tuesday May 30, 2023 from 1-3 pm at 435 2nd St NW,
Milaca MN (Rec Park) .
