Laetitia Anne Clark Woods

Laetitia “Tish” Anne Clark Woods, age 95, New Brighton, MN, peacefully passed into her Lord’s presence on April 8, 2026. She was born on November 14, 1930.

Tish grew up in Indiana and McKeesport, PA, the youngest of four children. She completed high school in Montreat, NC in 1948. She completed a BA in Bible at Westminster College and a BSN in Nursing at the University of Pittsburgh. Tish was married to Jim Woods for 65 years, having met as children in the church where her father was the minister.

Tish lived a life of joyful service to her Lord, family, church and community. Tish was a registered nurse for 35 years. She worked in public health, obstetrics, geriatrics, and as a nursing instructor. After leaving nursing, she was a school bus driver and driver instructor and she and Jim enjoyed driving motor coaches together. They also volunteered for New Brighton Public Safety, were active at Salem Covenant, and visited their daughter’s family in Ethiopia two times.

Grateful to have shared in her life are her children, Tannie (Walter) Eshenaur, Chip (Jody) Woods, and John Woods; grandchildren, Katie Eshenaur, Pete (Julie) Eshenaur, Hannah Eshenaur, Elsa (Tom) Flage, Drew (Shannon) Woods, Sarah Woods, Ben (Grace) Woods, Julie Woods, Michael Gage, Teagan Woods, Matthew Woods, and Skylar Woods; and great-grandchildren, Ethan, Micah, Abigail, Roland, Lucy, Benjamin, Madelyn, and Luke. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Woods; parents, Robert Jr. and Eleanor (Schoonmaker) Clark; and siblings, Eleanor, Robert, and Alfred.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 5th,2026 at 10 AM followed by a service at 11 AM at Community of Nations Church, 2025 Skillman Ave W, Roseville.
